Freelance Whales is an indie band from Queens, who all met through craig’s-list ads… “drummer needed” etc. “Enzymes” is the first single off of their second album (First album was “Weathervanes”). I’m familiar with the band from a song they did with Gilbere Forte “1st Floor.”

This video is visually ba-na-nas. They used a Weisscam HS-2 to shoot at 2000fps for the rain, flower explosion and fuse shots to get that effect. The only artificial visual effects are the obvious ones; the face explosion, bubble transformation and smoke to body bag transformation.
