“Ties are the spice rack of the wardrobe.” What do I mean by that statement? Basically you should have an incredibly varied tie selection, like you would a varied spice rack. That way you can add whatever flavour you want to your outfit. While I probably extended that metaphor for longer than it should’ve been stretched, our basic point is that you need a big variety of ties and not just the crazy types.
